Harvest To Be...    

     While we have had both fruitful years and drought years, we have also taken years off gardening as we expanded our family. Each year we try to grow something that we've never grown before, both for fun and as a challenge! A few years ago it was eggplant while another year it was peanuts.

     This year we started planning our garden back in January and allowed the kids to be a part of the process. If it was up to Bentley, we would have probably bought everything in the catalog! He ultimately decided on picking the Purple Potatoes (he thought they were blue, his favorite color). Jill's pick for this year was spaghetti squash. She cooked one for the first time for Father's Day 2016 and has been in love with them ever since!                

     You can always come see where your food is grown and enjoy a wide variety of pick-your-own produce including: strawberries, beans, corn, cucumbers, and pumpkins to name a few.
