In August 2017 we had the pleasure of celebrating Brad's Grandma's 100th birthday! Here she is pictured with 7 of her 9 children as well as her 95 year old sister Jeannie. Sadly, on Nov. 2nd, 2017 Grandma passed away.  We know she lived a full life and was loved but she will always be missed on the farm.

Paying Homage

     With expanding the garden we wanted to learn as much as we could about the farm and the property. We have dedicated this page to included some of our ancestry to pay homage as the 7th generation to farm this land. Our hope is that it will evolve as we learn more about our roots!

     In our research so far, one of our favorite obituaries to read is of Henry Augustine Starr (Stair). We found ourselves connected to him through the lovely words that depicted him and his life and love for his family and farm just like us.
